How far can we trust AI?
On 28 October we put it to the test, live in Lugano.

Dedalix is among the organisers of «AI, the Illusion of Knowledge – Sfida l'Esperto», on Wednesday 28 October 2026 from 17.30 at Dagorà in Lugano, as part of Swiss {ai} Weeks. Not a conference, but an experiment open to the public: AI answers real cases live, the room votes, an expert checks. Free entry, 50 seats.

A well-written answer always looks right. That is exactly the problem.

Anyone who uses artificial intelligence tools every day knows it: the answer arrives in seconds, tidy and self-assured. But the confidence of the text says nothing about its correctness. And faced with a plausible text on a subject we do not know in depth, we end up feeling competent without being so.

That is why we chose to organise, together with Laura Munari (Brave Digital) and the Linkfloyd agency, an event unlike the usual: not a series of talks about AI, but a live experiment.

What happens on 28 October

Wednesday 28 October 2026, from 17.30, Dagorà Lifestyle Innovation Hub in Lugano, Via Pietro Peri 21b. Free entry, about two hours, a maximum of 50 participants. The event is part of Swiss {ai} Weeks, is held in Italian and is hosted by Laura Munari, Head of Digital Strategy & AI at Brave Digital.

The evening opens with three perspectives on the topic:

Dorota Sędek, Founder & CEO of Alterland.io, Main AI/VR Principal Partner of the event, then presents a concrete case of AI applied to preparation and training.

The expert challenge

The heart of the evening is the «Sfida l'Esperto» workshop. Starting from a real case, we put a question to the AI and show the answer to the room. The audience assesses it: is it reliable? Can it be used as it is? Only then does a professional in that field step in, analyse the content and point out errors, omissions and everything that requires specialist expertise.

Then they show how the answer changes when it is re-read with experience and professional judgement.

Among the experts involved: Danilo Ceglie, fiduciary and chartered accountant at Vella SA, and Marco Vigilante, lawyer and notary at Berra Vigilante & Partners. Two fields, tax and legal, where an «almost right» answer is expensive.

Why Dedalix

Every day we work with Ticino SMEs that want to automate processes and save time. And the lesson we see repeated is always the same: automating does not mean delegating judgement.

AI tools save hours only if they stay under the control of someone with the expertise to tell when the answer is right and when it is not. An automation that gets it wrong with confidence costs more than one that never starts. Putting this check in front of an audience, live, is the most honest way to show it.

The aim of the evening is not to decide whether AI is «good» or «bad», but to see concretely where it helps, where it misleads and why human expertise remains decisive. It is the same principle behind the reliable automations we build for SMEs: the tool proposes, the person who knows the trade decides.
